One of SCA's goals is to make a personalized, Bible based education available to anyone who desires it for their children. That can only happen with the support of this community. All contributions - large and small - are welcome. When we all work together, we can achieve so much more!
These are items that we use on a regular basis and are constantly needing to replenish. If you would like more information, please call the Academy at 830-433-4131.
* Building Fund
We are blessed to have received a gift of property from the Stephen and Mary Birch Foundation. This 12.6 acre property is located at 1456 E. Kingsbury. We are nearing the end of Phase II in a 4 Phase Master Plan. Completion of Phase II will provide larger classrooms, which will in turn allow SCA to open the doors to even more children. It will also clear up some much needed space for the office and administrative activities.
A 24 passenger bus or 15 passenger van is desired for transporting children on field trips.
SCA Grant Team
Individuals who would like to help Seguin Christian Academy obtain grants to help make an individualized Christian education available to everyone.
As always, cash, check, and credit card donations are always gratefully accepted in the school office.
Regardless of how you choose to give, your donation is deductible, and you will receive a tax donation statement at the end of each year. You can also be assured that your donation is making a difference in the lives of each and every student at SCA. Thank you for partnering with SCA to offer educational alternatives to the children in Guadalupe County and the surrounding areas.

STUDENT TABLETS OR LOPTOPS FOR BLENDED CLASSES
In our middle school and some of our combined grade level classes, we are moving to a blended curriculum where some of the coursework is instructor led and some is computer based.
The computer based programs are all internet based applications requiring dependable, portable (i.e. tablet or laptop) computers which, because of their constant use, will require additional bandwidth and speed.
*Updated Computer Lab
In order to prepare our students for the real world, we need computers comparable to what students will be using in the real world.
Needs to be updated from Server 2003 to Server 2010
12 Lab Computers
6 Classroom Computers
All need to be replaced with computers with Windows 7 Professional or newer. (I've had them evaluated, and they cannot be updated - new computers are necessary; however, we have plenty of flat screen monitors which were purchased with donations in 2012.)
We must have the Professional version of whatever version we purchase in order to network the computers.
Digital Projectors and Document Cameras
We currently have 3 document cameras and projectors that are shared among 6 classes, chapel, and science lab. Since we are striving to have all teachers utilizing these technologies in their classrooms, it would be helpful to have enough equipment for each teacher to have their own set-up.
With an annual salary of $18,000, our teachers do not have a lot of extra money to spend on personal computers.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
As a Non-Profit private school, SCA receives no state education funds and very limited federal funds. Because one of the primary goals of SCA is to make Christian education available to as many students as possible, SCA will strive to keep tuition low and reach out to the Christian community for prayers, support, and financial assistance.
“You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.” 2 Corinthians 1:11
The most important thing you can do for SCA is pray for the ministry, the board, the employees, the students, and the volunteers. This is God’s school, and He needs to be at the center of everything!
“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

“Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. ----Luke 12:33
Monetary donations can be designated or undesignated. Donations which are not designated for a specific use will be used for scholarships, start-up costs, to establish an emergency fund, and to take care of immediate needs.
